Double legged amputee Daniella Acanfora with Denmark’s Ambassador to the United States Henrik Kauffmann, and the famed actress Helen Menken, Vice President of the ICD, on the occasion of the presentation of the ICD Scroll of Gratitude to His Majesty, King Frederik IX of Denmark on the premiere performance of the Royal Danish Ballet. The Scroll expresses gratitude for the Ballet’s performance for a humane as well as cultural triumph in being a significant occasion for the rehabilitation of disabled people.
