1/3 rd scale armature for Black Elk: Homage to the Great spirit. This is one of the last works Fredericks completed before he passed away.
This armature is crafted of wood lath and the head of the Black Elk figure is finished in clay. The buffalo lays at the side of Black Elk as he offers his peace pipe (not attached) to the sky.
