Mary Soper Pope mold, obverse, with mold rims, stained from the shellac used to seal the plaster. Relief depicts a woman on her knees holding a plant in her hands. A small child is at her side with arms outstreatched. There are plants on both sides of the relief. Writing around the relief says "Mary Soper Pope Memorial Award, Cranbrook Institute of Science."
