Description
Bronze casting of "Baby Baboon" from "Baboon Fountain" created for the Glass Industries Building at the 1939 New York World's Fair, Flushing Meadow, New York. According to Molly Barth, Fredericks' former assistant, Fredericks said the little baby baboon is a self-portrait, because he [Fredericks] was such a perfectionist and that little baby baboon looks like he is worrying.
