Face: Inscription, "The Lincoln National Life Insurance Company," with bas-relief of Arthur E. Hall; in smaller type, "Company Founded 1905 Arthur F. Hall".
Reverse: Inscription, "He Held his Place - Held the Long Purpose - Like a Growing Tree"; in smaller type, "Quotation from Markham's Lincoln," with bas-relief of Abraham LIncoln sitting on a log, reading a book, hatchet by his side.
